About

Michèle is a Belgian artist. Trained at Sint-Lukas in Brussels and the Academy of Anderlecht, she refined her craft through residencies in France. From Watermael-Boitsfort, she found her way to Jette, where she has lived and worked for over twenty years. Her career spans a wide range of projects: from plaster figurines and monumental animals to mosaics and decorative painting in art-deco buildings and other prestigious interiors. Today, she devotes herself entirely to sculpture, bringing feminine grace and childlike playfulness to life.

I choose simplicity and harmony.

Style

In her recent work, Michèle focuses on the human figure. She seeks beauty beyond the limits of perfection – beauty that lies in posture, movement, and emotion. Thanks to her deep understanding of materials and her constant urge to experiment, Michèle lets each medium speak with a result that feels both powerful and delicate.
